Game Design Workshop: "Phospho" game treatment
“Phospho” a game by Thomas Kearns, 1/27/09 this treatment was developed for Allen Turner's Game Design Workshop (Gam424) at DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media. Someday when I have a bit more free time I look forward to flushing out the idea and potentially prototyping the gameplay to shop for a publisher ... any takers? idea we find our hero, and his big silly eyes, waking to darkness. Phospho, a nearly human (but clearly low tech) creature living in a subterranean community deep within the land, doesn't know it yet but he is about to embark on an enlightening journey to help bring the power of the sun back to his neighbors. Phospho's adventure plays out as an often silly, vertically climbing, platformer.
